What type of information is collected from you?
The information we colle ct from you allows the creation of a profile on Daysium to track and evidence your travel for the purposes of tax residence and visa compliance.
The type of information we collect, and its use is outlined below.
Contact information: This will include your name, email address and phone number. This information may be collected for the purposes of registering for an account with Daysium, if you subscribe to our mailing list, or complete a form on our website or if you interact with our sales or customer support team.
Device and location data: We collect data from the device you use to access our services, such as your IP address, operating system, browser details and time of visit. This will include the GPS data from your phone and also any geo tags on photographs which you take or upload to the app.
Tax and social security numbers: You will have the option to add your tax and social security numbers to the app.
Usage information: We collect usage data about you whenever you interact with our website. This may include which web pages you visit, what you click on, when you performed those actions, and other activities. You can manage your cookie preferences via the cookie preferences manager.
Cookies and page tags: We use third party tracking services that employ cookies and page tags (also known as web beacons) to collect aggregated and anonymous data about visitors to our website. This data includes usage details and user statistics. You can manage your cookie preferences via the cookie preferences manager.
Billing details: If you use a credit card for billing, our credit card processor may collect information such as the cardholder’s name, billing address, email address, credit card number, expiry date and credit card security code.
Account settings: You may be able to set or update various preferences and personal details on your account settings page or your profile. For example, your name, email address, default language or time zone.
Other data you submit: We may collect your personal information or data if you submit it to us in other contexts. For example, by including personal data in notes or free text fields of the app. We recommend that you do not include personal data in any notes or free text fields on the app.

We collect data that you provide on our site www.daysium.com (our website, “site”) or applications (“app” or “apps”). This includes information provided at the time of registering interest in our services, registering to use our site or app, to complete your profile or when subscribing to our service.
If you contact us via our e-mail, telephone, or in-app support, we will keep a record of that correspondence.
How is your information used?
The personal information we collect is used for the purposes of:
Creating a profile: Your personal information will create a profile for you on the application which will include your name and contact details.
Identity verification: The personal information you provide to create a profile is used to confirm your identity when logging into our app/site. The information is matched against our existing records to allow you to login.
Evidencing your location: The app will ask for your permission to track your location data. This allows the app to evidence your travel for tax residence and visa compliance purposes. You will also have the option to upload photographs and to take photographs in the app to evidence your travel for tax residence and visa compliance purposes.
Generating reports for tax and accountancy usage: You will have the option to add your tax and social security numbers to the app. This allows the app to generate reports for you to share with your accountancy or tax specialists.
Communication with Daysium: If you send us an email, we will use your email address to respond to your query and to keep a record of our correspondence.
Marketing: If you subscribe to our mailing list, we will use your email address to share marketing materials and other information about our services.
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who has access to your information?
Your information will be accessible to Daysium administrators.
In addition, we may pass your information to our third-party service providers, subcontractors, and associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example to process payment transactions). These service providers are contractually obligated to only use your personal data for the purposes specified by us and to protect the confidentiality and security of your data.
We may disclose your information if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data to comply with any legal obligation, or to enforce or apply our Terms of Business and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Days Limited, our users, or others. You can update your details by logging into the application and amending your profile.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of your information
When you give us personal information via our app/site, we take steps to ensure that it is treated securely. Our app is encrypted and authenticated using TLS 1.2 with the TLS_AES_256_CDM_SHA384, TLS_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 cipher suites on SSL. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of web browsers such as Google Chrome.
Non-sensitive personal data (e.g., your email address) is transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
